Yours Recycled Cans and Bottles can offer a Helping Hand for Eyes and Ears
891 ABC has partnered with Recyclers of South Australia Inc and CanDo4Kids to provide a helping hand for the eyes and ears of South Australian children.
891 ABC Adelaide’s Cans for Kids programme was officially launched by Matthew Abraham and David Bevan at an outside broadcast last week, encouraging the public to donate a portion of the money received from recycling 10c deposit containers to help South Australian children who are deaf, blind or who have a sensory impairment.
The Cans for Kids programme aims to raise more than $20,000 for CanDo4Kids over the July and August period.
It’s so easy to get involved – simply recycle your bottles and cans at a participating depot during July and August and donate part of your deposit refund.
Donations can be made at any of 114 Recyclers of South Australia recycling centres. Head to www.recyclesa.com.au/Regions.htm to find a participating centre near you!
