Applying for a Grant from CanDo4Kids
CanDo4Kids has been providing services and highlighting the abilities and potential of children and young adults who are Blind/Vision impaired, Deaf/Hearing impaired and Deafblind since 1874.
The CanDo4Kids foundation was established in 2001 and aims to take one step further by partnering with non-profit organizations and community groups to assist children and young adults who have a sensory impairment to walk the walk, talk the talk, make friends, play sport, push the boundaries and achieve their dreams in the community.
Thank you for your interest in the CanDo4Kids foundation. In order to process your request we ask that you read the Grant Selection Criteria, Grant Application Guidelines and complete the Application. All grant applications should then be sent to:

Proposals that meet the initial criteria will be evaluated more thoroughly, we may request additional information. The foundation may also wish to visit those responsible for the day-to-day conduct of the project.
The board of directors will review the final candidates for funding. The board will select proposals for funding that most effectively align with the aims and objectives of the foundation.
Grants are for a one-year period with no guarantee of further funding beyond that time. A further application must be made for additional funding.
The foundation requires an evaluation report twelve months after the grant of funds. The report should identify the outcomes and results of the program as compared to the original aims and identified in the application. The report will also include a detailed financial report.
