Coordinator Donor Development

CanDo Group Charities is the major provider of services to people who have a sensory impairment. Services are provided by our charities; CanDo4Kids and Deaf CanDo across South Australia on an outreach basis.

We are looking for a highly organised individual who will be part of an enthusiastic Team.  This team player will be responsible for donor development coordination across all of CanDo Group Charities. 

 The successful applicant will join our team of highly talented staff, who through their hard work help the sensory impaired community of South Australia.

A mobile telephone and laptop will be provided to enable efficient and effective delivery of work outcomes.  Reasonable private use of that equipment is acceptable and will be negotiated with the Manager Donor Development

The qualities we are looking for include:

  • A sound commitment to the achievement of results
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and manage time well
  • The ability to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work between sites and out of office hours


Some knowledge of corporate fundraising, donor relations and donor behaviour would be well regarded as would a working knowledge of marketing principles and knowledge of a contact management system.

Membership of the Fundraising Institute Australia (FIA) and completion of any of the FIA 'Skills' courses would be a distinct advantage.
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Public Relations or similar would be well regarded.
