The 2011 CanDo Caper was AN AMAZING RACE!
On October 21 2011, teams from businesses around Adelaide embarked on a two day race around South Australia in the fourth CanDo Caper! The Caper is one of our biggest events for the year, with funds raised going to Can:Do 4Kids and Deaf Can:Do. A huge amount of fun was had, with teams completing tricky challenges and tasks, and solving clues which would lead them to their next secret destination.
This year's overnight pit stop was in beautiful Hahndorf, with dinner held at The German Arms where teams could relax, network and dance to our live band before heaving themselves out of bed the next morning to do it all again!
Highlights of the Caper included:
- stunt car racing in Mini Coopers
- learning and performing a German Slap Dance while dressed in lederhosen
- creating murals at Can:Do 4Kids' Modbury North site for the enjoyment of children who are deaf, blind or sensory impaired
- a hard-fought laser skirmish in Kuitpo Forrest
- stand-up paddle boarding at Port Noarlunga in gorgeously sunny weather
- wrestling with real-life WWF-style wrestlers complete with wrestling ring, smoke machines and a crowd full of cheering spectators!
It really was a fabulously fun and exciting event which encouraged a great deal of team building and networking.
In 2012 the Caper is going to be even bigger and better with more fantastic prizes and all new and exciting activities. It's exciting, it's inspiring and it's a fantastic event for your business to be involved in! Don't miss out!
