Grant Selection Criteria
For a non-profit organisation or community group to be supported by the CanDo4Kids foundation it must be:
Approved as a Registered Tax Exempt Charity and Deductible Gift Recipient
A Community Service Organisation which although not registered as a Tax Exempt Charity is of a non-profit nature these include:
Sports & Social Groups
Community Groups
Community Welfare Groups
Education Groups
Able to provide accountability to ensure that Grants are applied and managed in accordance with the information outlined in the formal Grant Agreement.
Providing activities based in South Australia, however, interstate requests will be considered if they are relevant to the Foundation’s mission and pertain to a specific South Australian project.
Willing to provide clear, measurable objectives and expected key outcomes for Grant allocation.
For an individual to be supported by the cando4kids foundation they must:
Be 25 years or under, and
Be blind/vision impaired, Deaf/hearing impaired or Deafblind
Grants allocated to an individual, organisation or community must be directed towards technological support for connection to the World Wide Web to assist children or organisations in the following areas:
Community inclusion
One on one support required to join a group and train group leaders to provide peer support
Training and Development Sessions regarding sensory issues to groups supporting inclusion
Equipment needs
Purchase of Equipment
Adaptations to Equipment
Small community projects that promote awareness of sensory issues
Web design
Web Hosting
Internet Connections
