Orientation and Mobility Specialists at Can:Do 4Kids are Occupational Therapists who have undertaken an additional Graduate Diploma of Orientation and Mobility to support children with low vision or blindness to independently access and travel within their communities. 

Areas of support may include

  • Long cane training
  • Mobility aid prescription and training
  • Transport training
  • Route travel
  • Assessment and support of functional vision
  • Assessment and support in safe environments
  • Early concept development
  • Gross motor skills
  • Independence skills
