Can:Do 4Kids offers a range of group therapy programs aimed to support children of all ages to develop vital skills needed to participate appropriately in daily life.  All Can:Do 4Kids groups are planned and facilitated in collaboration with experienced occupational therapists, speech therapists, early intervention therapists and child and youth development therapists.  Can:Do 4Kids groups are an excellent opportunity to meet and connect with other families in the community.

Learn 4 Kindy

Learn 4 Kindy is aimed at supporting children between the ages of 2-4 to develop a range of skills to help them become ready for kindy.  Learn 4 Kindy focuses on social skills, language skills, fine and gross motor skills, attention and concentration and sensory processing and regulation. 



Learn & Grow

Learn & Grow is an early intervention program aimed at supporting children between the ages of 1-3 with sensory impairments.  This group focuses on fine and gross motor skills, play skills, positive interactions with peers, attention and concentration and expressive vocabulary. Learn & Grow is an opportunity for parents and their children to work on a range of different skills whilst also building connections with other families in the community and increasing understanding of sensory impairments. 



Social Skills Ages 5-7

Can:Do 4Kids offers two social skills programs, one for children aged 5-7 and another for children aged 8-10.  Can:Do 4Kids social skills programs aim to improve relationships with peers, social language, understanding and instructions, emotional well-being, life skills and etiquette in the community, awareness of self and others, positive interactions with others and fine and gross motor skills.

Youth Club (Sensory Specific)

Can:Do 4Kids Youth Club is a social recreation and well-being club aimed at teenagers with a vision and/or hearing impairment who may be experiencing isolation or wanting to meet new people. This club aims to reduce the barriers often inhibiting young people living with a sensory impairment from accessing age appropriate mainstream community based activities. The Youth Club aims to build the capacity of mainstream services so that people with a disability can access these services more readily.  



Mentoring



Learn and Splash

Learn & Splash is a water based therapy program aimed at children from 1-4 who are experiencing delays in fine and gross motor development. Sessions are carried out in a swimming pool and are facilitated by an Occupational Therapist to support children to develop body awareness, coordination and balance, general confidence, muscle strength, independence in the water, sensory processing and attention and concentration. Parents are encouraged to participate in the group by getting into the pool with their child.
