Tech Connect
Monday 30 September AND Wednesday 9 October at Can:Do Noarlunga (1.30pm-3.30pm)
Ages 8-13 years
Tech Connect is designed to engage young people to practice their social skills, share their interests, explore their leadership skills and develop cooperative communication skills through using the mediums of Digital Gaming and Virtual Reality.
Tech Connect is facilitated by two Allied Health professionals per group and the young people attend independently of caregivers with a risk assessment and group consent to be completed prior to confirming a participant’s attendance.

Friday 11 October
Ages 8-11 years (10am-12pm at Can:Do Hindmarsh)

Junior Champs & Champs
Tuesday 1 October at Can:Do Hindmarsh (1pm-3.30pm)
Tuesday 8 October at Can:Do Hindmarsh (12pm-2.30pm)
Children ages 5-12 years who are deaf or hard of hearing
Facilitated by a LSL Therapist with support from Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists, Junior Champs & Champs creates a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment for children to socialise while developing various skills such as communication, confidence, problem solving, creativity, pragmatics and team work. Past activities have included arts and crafts, board games, team games, celebrations and fun activities in the community.
Social Buddies
Wednesday 2 October at Can:Do Noarlunga (9.30am-3pm)
Any child age 8-13 years is welcome to join Social Buddies.
Social Buddies is facilitated by Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists to support children and young people to develop social skills, and improve communication within a group setting.
