Our Noarlunga therapy centre continues to grow from strength to strength for our clients

Did you know that children and adolescents with vision and hearing challenges have a higher risk of developing depression, aggression and anxiety and are more likely to experience bullying, victimisation and marginalisation?

Thanks to our valued community of supporters and partners, our Can:Do therapy centre in Noarlunga continues to thrive and welcome more Can:Do kids, and their families through the doors each day!

More than just a ‘clinic’

Our innovative spaces are key to making our clients’ goals a reality and having recently celebrated its first birthday in November last year, we would love to take a moment with you to reflect on what’s become possible.

We’ve incorporated the most innovative therapy to really engage our clients like our construction zone and digital gaming room.

“It’s about implementing what they use at home and what they are interested in to facilitate the therapy, which is what makes the Digital Gaming space so unique”. – Senior Occupational Therapist, Adriana

A space to connect, belong and thrive

Our approach to therapy and support is centred around the person: their relationships, social aptitude, and communication.

Our clients and their families need a place to feel connected, to belong and thrive together. We have a ‘Teen’ space where teenagers can hang out, socialise, do homework, and feel connected. Our Youth Group and supporting programs include workshops, recreational and social activities that empower our young people to transition into high school, build social connections, self-identity, and confidence.

Skills to live a life without limits

Our mission is to drive capacity building and give our clients the skills to live independently and your support continues to make that happen.

“I’ve been able to meet other parents, share ideas and stories – and be supported and encouraged, rather than judged.” – Client Mum, Megan
