Can:Do 4Kids will host a blindfolded dinner at the National Wine Centre on Friday, May 6 2022 to support an estimated 30,000 children in South Australia who are blind or deaf.
After a record-breaking event in 2021 raising over $120,000 for Can:Do 4Kids, this year’s event is set to be bigger and better than ever. Dinner in the Dark is a first of its kind in SA and Can:Do 4Kids’ signature fundraising event, designed to suppress the dominant sense of sight and lead guests into a world where they can re-evaluate the notions of taste and smell at a unique food and wine event.
Vili’s Family Bakery has signed on as the headline partner for the event. Josh Milisits, QA Officer, Vili’s Family Bakery, shares why:

Each table will be hosted by an ambassador from a range of local wine partners who will lead guests through a four-course degustation menu uniquely created for Dinner in the Dark by the National Wine Centre’s head chef and expertly paired with matching wines.
